Given Katie’s previous training of trauma in childhood, she is equipped to support and better understand how to help move a person through trauma experienced in childhood in order to attain emotional healing in adulthood. Katie is also trained in grief and loss whether through death, health disparity, or transitions of life. She has professional experience in identifying adequate coping skills to practice emotional regulation, manage confrontation, or in learning techniques to be a more assertive person.
Katie attained a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and finds working with clients of diverse backgrounds and at all stages of the life span to be a privilege. Katie is currently accepting new clients which include individuals, couples, and families.
