“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do, and Live.”                                       – Dalai Lama

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Doctorate of Psychology, PsyD), I have provided treatment for a range of concerns with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I believe that the power of therapy comes from having a confidential space to navigate challenges while moving towards meaningful change. My therapeutic stance is warm, affirming, and empowering. The client’s personalized treatment goals, preferences, and personality all determine the specific evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
I specialize in empowerment-based approaches to assist clients in pursuing a life that is fulfilling. My areas of expertise are: trauma reactions, substance misuse, Military/Veteran populations, affirmative care for LGBTQ+ communities (e.g., evaluations of readiness), among others. I provide culturally-inclusive and evidence-based treatments.
Making the decision to work together is a mutual process filled with respect and collaboration. The first appointment is geared towards learning about you as an individual, identifying personal goals, and reviewing expectations for therapy. Treatment will prioritize your needs for healing and growth, which requires a strong therapeutic relationship.
